Sew What is a hand-embroidered typeface created for the class Advanced Problems in Graphic Design I at the University of Missouri St. Louis.
The tedious process of stitching by hand took over thirty hours to complete. Inspiration for this design came from the beautiful transitional typeface Baskerville. Sew What is playful, and its bright colors gives it a youthful feel. The thick type of thread used gives this face a lovely texture. This typeface would work well for fabric stores, craft blogs, modern clothing brands, and anyone looking for a typeface with a hand-crafted feel.
